Seeing is believing

Our comparison video illustrates the dramatic differences between SideSwipe and a standard flat beater.

Watch as the alternating wiper fins facilitate both horizontal and vertical mixing action as they scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl and send ingredients downward. The unscraped areas of the basketweave pattern show the places where chips and nuts can pass by the blade without being crushed or jammed against the bowl. These spots are scraped on subsequent passes of the mixer blade.

Broadband connection recommended.

Side-by-Side Comparison                  KitchenAid flat beater vs. SideSwipe KLW-1

To show how much better SideSwipe creams and adds loft to mixtures, we combined 1 cup of softened butter with 1 cup of granulated sugar using KitchenAid's standard beater and the new SideSwipe KLW-1. The KA beater (left) not only leaves ingredients on the bowl, but the consistency is heavy and grainy. SideSwipe (right) scrapes the bowl and delivers a light, fluffy creamed mixture in less time.
